875 twin air - Start/Stop unavailable and Check Engine - Limp Mode. Daughters car 2012 500 twin air - driving along motorway when this message popped up, car went into limp mode EML on. I went out to help, and drove it home.. not in limp mode and no errors or EML on. seemed fine.

It's a 2012 fiat 500 sport. The other day the blows dial was acting weird and not changing speed for the heat/ac. Eventually the blower stopped all together. The exact moment that happened the warnings for hill start unavailable, esc unavailable popped up on the dash and my voice controls and cruise control all stopped working.

Posted August 2, 2021. Looking for some advice on a Fiat 500 1.2 petrol convertible with a start stop issue. After driving the car for about 5-6 miles the S start stop disconnected light comes on the dash together with a warning triangle. When you drive it from cold and stall it intentionally the SS works ok but won't come on a junctions etc.

There should be a quick-release disconnector on the neg terminal on the battery. Disconnect it and go for a beer/cup of tea/sandwich/walk the dog. Re-connect it. This cures many ills.
